No surprises here. But blaming it on the US model of health care is wrong. The real reasons: 1) There’s never been a personal health record that truly engages with the patients… they all have the user experience of a night in the mortuary 2) I don’t believe many patients truly want to engage in this kind of thing… people just expect to turn up to a doctor and be cured without much personal effort. Until we create truly engaging experiences and change the incentives in health care this isn’t going to work.
Nice reference to Denmark however… pointing at what Avaleo does… keeping people out of hospital. But our focus is primarily on great tools to make professionals more efficient.
