More crazy health ideas that tried and failed more... →
Somebody that also understands the giant mistakes most so-called investors are making in the new round of must have health applications. There’s simply something inherently irresistible about the world’s biggest industry and its need for revolution through IT.

Are most quoted 'facts' wrong? →
Interesting article, not just because I was at medical school with a few Malawians (who all went to Manchester after St. Andrews), but just confirms my belief that most ‘facts’ you read in the media are rarely checked.
Vinod Khosla on the future of health care →
Some interesting points but no practical roadmap for overcoming the resistance to change that will come from the medical community.

No surprises here. But blaming it on the US model of health care is wrong. The real reasons: 1) There’s never been a personal health record that truly engages with the patients… they all have the user experience of a night in the mortuary 2) I don’t believe many patients truly want to engage in this kind of thing… people just expect to turn up to a doctor and be cured...

Nick and Michelle's wedding
Thanks guys for a great time. First class all the way. Church was great… best wedding ‘manual’ I’ve ever seen. Food and evening simply spectacular.
Thanks also to Dad… for looking after Aksel for so long. He’s still going on about his ‘granja’.
A few photos from the weekend… (nothing from the wedding for some reason… perhaps drink...
